Resource Room

The Resource Room is available to all Goodwill job seekers and the general public for ongoing job search. Equipped with multiple computers, printers, phones and a fax machine, as well as job postings, work guides, and many other resources. The Resource Room is staffed with people available to assist you and is open Mon-Thurs, 9AM-4PM (closed for lunch from 12PM-12:30PM).

  • Job Search & Computer Time: walk-ins are accepted, appointments are encouraged.
  • Resume and Cover Letter Development: Meet with staff who will provide guidance to help you create an effective resume and cover letter to upload or take with you to your next interview, hiring event, or job fair. Appointment required.
  • Adult GED & High School+ information: Meet with representatives from Clover Park Technical College to get information on the Adult GED and High School+ classes. Appointment required.

This comprehensive class covers essential skills for job seekers and employees, from budgeting and digital skills to customer service and teamwork.

GED Prep Program

General Education Diploma (GED)

This program is designed for young adults between the ages of 16 and 24, providing online classroom education with testing scholarships and coordination.

This class is made for those who are new to using computers or need a refresher to gain skills necessary to find a job, take online training courses, or work towards a promotion.

Green Career Explorer

This program introduces job seekers to hands-on careers in construction, environmental services, and energy efficiency. Participants gain essential workplace skills, safety training, and practical experience in growing industries like solar energy, HVAC, and waste management. With a focus on in-demand, entry-level jobs, this course helps students build the skills needed for stable employment while exploring opportunities in the expanding green economy.

Help Desk Techniciancomputerlear

This program prepares students for the CompTIA+ IT Fundamentals nationally recognized certification. Job seekers train for employment as IT Help Desk Technicians while also gaining insights into sustainable IT practices, such as refurbishing and reusing technology to reduce electronic waste. Students learn to navigate career opportunities in the growing green economy, equipping them with skills to support environmentally conscious IT operations and sustainable career paths.
