We’ve implemented safety protocols based on CDC-guidelines for Donating and Shopping, making them safe for all of our customers and employees. We ask that you adhere to our new policies while utilizing our services.

Our Work Opportunity Centers in Tacoma, Longview and Yakima remain closed to the public,  for in-person services and training, however online programs are available through our new Digital Work Opportunity Center – Goodwill Connect.

Donation Centers

All Donation Centers at our retail locations remain open; however, they may close occasionally throughout the day for processing. Thank you for your continued patience as we navigate new processes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We recommend calling a store ahead of time to ensure their donation center is currently accepting donations.

We’ve put together a few tips that will help speed up your donation trip. Prior to heading to Goodwill:
COVID-19 Safety Protocols – please review prior to donating.
Place all items in bags or boxes (if possible) – This will help you to quickly grab your items to place in the bins for our no-contact donation drop off. We will gladly recycle or reuse your bags and boxes.
Sort by like items – Select locations set up donation bins by category – clothing, shoes, books & media, household items, glass, and linens.
• We are unable to take large items like furniture at this time to maintain social distancing.
