We strolled through the aisles at our local Tacoma thrift stores and found these great items to make the day special!
1. Bake Something Sweet
Turn a favorite baked good into a heart shaped masterpiece -OR- fill a heart shaped ramekin with sweet treats. We found these throughout the store, both in home goods and cookware so keep your eyes peeled!

Combine your loved ones favorite goodies in a cute vintage mug or jar! Have something bigger in mind? Don’t forget about our basket aisle! Goodwill has a great selection of baskets in every shape and size.
3. Paint a Plate
Find a unique plate and turn it into a work of art by using paint to write a favorite quote, song lyrics, or message. Have kids or a dog? Use their thumb or paw prints to create a one-of-a-kind piece! We found this star plate at our 6th Ave location in Tacoma.
4. Add a Candle (or two, or three)
Who doesn’t love a little mood lighting? Grab some tea lights and find a unique containers like these at your local Goodwill.
