About the Course

Our Youth GED® program is designed for young adults between the ages of 16 and 24. It provides an alternative pathway for students to realize their full potential and obtain their diploma. Goodwill’s test prep program is free to all eligible participants and includes supportive services with career and financial counseling.

This program is In partnership with Tacoma Public Schools, Longview Public Schools and Kelso School District.

What Do You Cover?

This class offers structured curriculum delivered by qualified basic skills instructors focusing on:

  • Language arts
  • Social studies
  • Science
  • Mathematics
  • Reading comprehension
  • Writing skills

Am I Eligible?

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Ages 16-24
  • Currently not enrolled in a high school program
  • Has not graduated from high school
  • Have missed their graduation cohort
  • Internet connected device (assistance may be available)

Schedule

GED Prep Program is available online through our new Digital Work Opportunity Center. Students are assessed prior to enrollment and the Goodwill Youth Services team generates an individualized plan based on each student’s unique interests and goals.
