The Healthcare Careers Academy is a four-year pathway that is embedded into a student’s high school experience. Currently available to students entering Stadium and Mt. Tahoma High Schools, this pathway begins in their freshmen year, with an exploration of all the various healthcare careers.
As they progress throughout their high school years, the HCA students will take college level science and AP English classes. During their Junior and Senior years, the students will have the opportunity to Intern in the medical industry through the Next Move Internship Program. Students are supported by their industry mentor, a career internship coach, skilled teachers, and academic tutors throughout the program.
Our goal is for all HCA students to have a clear understanding of healthcare careers and what path they can take for the career they want. Click here to learn more about The Healthcare Careers Academy.
