The Career Hub

About

The Career Hub is where you will find the help you need to land a job or launch your career. Our employment specialists can help you create or update your resume and cover letter, sharpen your interviewing skills or teach you tips for job searches on the internet.

We work closely with local employers and maintain a database of current job opportunities as well as tips on their application process.

The Career Hub is available to our Vocational School students and open to the public.

Open Monday – Thursday, 9am-4pm. Appointments are encouraged.

Work with our career navigators to craft professional resumes that will get you noticed and hired.

Interview Skills

We’ll guide you through skills like what to wear, body language, how to answer difficult questions, company research and more, to help you land the job.

We maintain a list of current job opportunities with companies across the Puget Sound.  Subscribe to our Hot Jobs email for a weekly list.

Resource Room

The Resource Room is available to all Goodwill job seekers and the general public for ongoing job search. Equipped with multiple computers, printers, phones and a fax machine, as well as job postings, work guides, and many other resources. The Resource Room is staffed with people available to assist you and is open Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

Virtual Events

The Career Hub now offers a way to attend seminars virtually through Goodwill Connect, our new Digital Work Opportunity Center (DWOC).  Take classes to learn the skills needed for employment, learn tips for getting hired or get assistance with managing your personal finances. Goodwill Connect is accessible anytime – anywhere, all you need is an internet-connected device.

Join Goodwill’s Job Club and be a part of a community of job seekers where Goodwill’s employment coaches will teach you tips and tricks to searching for and landing jobs in a virtual world. We are offering this series of workshops through our Digital Work opportunity Center and all sessions will be held remotely.

We believe age DOES correspond with workplace wisdom. That is why we developed a workshop tailored to job seekers ages 40 and older. The Career Hub is a dedicated space for Goodwill’s Workforce Development Employment Specialists to work together to assist clients in our programs reach their employment goals. Employment Specialists are also available to work with individuals that are not enrolled in our programs after they meet with our Navigator located in the Job Resource Room. (by referral) The Career Hub will be open Monday through Thursday, 9am-3pm and by appointment.
